I took the idea of those japanese websites!

Everything are DIY apart from the tank:
2 X 9w compact fluorescent tubes
1 X baking tray for the light cover
Mini Filter made out of a Lock&Lock container
it is similar to the one that 阿乜水 made, but the inlet and outlet position are different

I will start set the tank up and plant some plants in this weekend.
It's fun to DIY and see the things that actually works!!!!

i think the filter behind the tank stand should be better!

I had thought of that before, but i have the ballast at the backboard and it would be dangerous if i spill water on it when i have to disconnect the filter!

But i'm thinking to actually put a covery for the ballast!

Yes it is very safe and stable !

may i ask you where 2 buy the baking tray
and all those transparent tubes??!!

The baking tray can be find in most of those kitchen wares shop, and I also seen them in Jusco before too, but a bit expensive.

Unfortunately that I don't know where about you can find the tubes, coz I bought them here in Australia. I tried to find them in Hong Kong before, but all i can find was those 8mm tube from TAMIYA (two star) at those model shops in Hong Kong, I tried them out before, but they break bvery easily after you heat them and bent into shapes.
